BIOS Update Unlocks Windows 11 24H2 Compatibility

Microsoft confirmed the fix in an official statement, explaining that ASUS released a new BIOS update that resolves the issue preventing these devices from upgrading to the latest version of Windows 11. Users with these models, particularly those running BIOS version 311 or lower, will need to update their BIOS before being able to install Windows 11 24H2.

Microsoft has also clarified that while the update is now available, the security block will not be removed all at once. Instead, the company is gradually lifting restrictions, allowing more devices to receive the update over time.

"Although the safeguard remains in effect, it will be removed gradually as more devices receive the update. Users are advised to check for updates in Settings > Windows Update and install all available updates to ensure compatibility with Windows 11, version 24H2," Microsoft stated.
